Reconstruction of Anterior Mandibular Defects

Synopsis

The anterior mandibular defect is one of the most challenging defects to reconstruct for the oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Evaluation and reconstruction of the anterior mandibular defect, with emphasis on microvascular reconstruction, will be discussed.

Contemporary Cosmetic Surgery

Synopsis

The popularity of cosmetic surgery today has encouraged innovation and the development of multiple new techniques and procedures that permit the safe and efficacious delivery of desired results with consistent and extraordinary patient satisfaction. While many innovations are improvements and extensions of well established procedures such as liposuction and facelifting, others are brand new procedures that provide reliably satisfying results to multitudes of patients thus encouraging the popularity and expansion of the cosmetic surgery specialty. This presentation will review the face of cosmetic surgery today and provide the audience with a basis to evaluate these new developments for suitability in their existing practices.
