This one and half day symposium will cover a variety of contemporary topics in anesthesia. Topics such as post operative cognitive deficits, local anesthesia, crisis management and current concept in post operative pain management for the oral and maxillofacial surgical patient will be discussed. Risk prevention and risk management will be compared in the Office Based Anesthesia vs. aviation, this will allow us to understand the evolution of a crisis and recognize behavior patterns that will and will not help in the resolution of the crisis.
