Synopsis

Obstructive Sleep Apnea affects 13 million people in the United States and has become one of the fastest expanding fieldsrelated to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In this session the guidelines for diagnosis and indications for successful treatment optionsincluding surgical interventions and possible complications will be reviewed and discussed.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Evaluate patients with OSA, describe different treatment modalities including surgical treatment as related to OMFS.
