Synopsis

This course reviews the legal and regulatory environment in which OMS practices are expected to operate.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Increase awareness of the general legal and regulatory constraints under which oral and maxillofacial surgeons practice, even if they do not accept insurance; and
  2. Increase an overall awareness of the complexity of relationship building in an era of increased regulations from (possibly) unforeseen areas.
