Synopsis

This course will review how to bring corrective jaw surgery into the private practice office. It will focus on practice management systems to help the surgeon manage these special patients. Establishing an image as an orthognathic surgeon, marketing, maintaining a referral base, insurance issues and case presentation will be discussed.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Develop the orthognathic surgery portion of the private practice;
  2. Develop an orthognathic referral base;
  3. Identify insurance issues;
  4. Become an educational leader in the field of jaw surgery; and
  5. Track patients.
