Resident Spouse Scholarship
The OMSF Alliance is pleased to continue its Resident Spouse Scholarships. The purpose of the scholarships is to offset travel and personal expenses for spouses to travel to the AAOMS Annual Meeting. Four scholarships, in the amount of $500 each, will be awarded. In order to be eligible you must be the spouse of a resident who will be attending the AAOMS Annual Meeting in Toronto in October 2009.
The four recipients will be selected in a random drawing on June 1, 2009 and awardees will be notified mid-June 2009. In addition to the $500 to offset travel expenses, the four recipients will be given one ticket each to attend the Alliance Benefit Event. At the Benefit Event, the recipients will be introduced. Recipients will be asked to attend all Alliance Activities at the 2009 Annual Meeting and will be obligated to provide the Alliance with feedback on what the scholarship meant to them after the meeting.
