Synopsis
We have had over 7 years of experience in using the Piezo-Surgery for osteotomies and bone surgery. This is an excellent system to use in dissecting the nerve from the surrounding bone as it does not damage the soft tissue. The Piezo-Surgery instruments do not rotate or oscillate thus doing no or minimal damage to surrounding soft tissue and nerves. We will report about our experience in all indications in Oral and Maxillofacial , Craniofacial and Basal Skull Surgery.
