Synopsis

This advanced hard and soft tissue grafting course will feature the latest techniques in implant site development of the compromised site. Topics to be covered include patient evaluation and selection, from atraumatic extraction and socket grafting and management of the post- extraction site, to strategies for dealing with the horizontally and vertically deficient ridge. This course will also focus on the most current strategies in minimally-invasive bone grafting & tissue grafting, papilla reconstruction and tissue management to improve long-term clinical success with dental implants, specifically in the esthetic zone. This course will enable you to broaden your knowledge and scope of practice and improve surgical skill and implant expertise. This course is designed for the clinician who has prior implant experience and would like to broaden his/her knowledge and scope of practice and improve surgical skill.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the anatomic basis and principles of hard tissue grafting for implant site development.
  2. Discuss the anatomic basis for oral soft tissue grafting and soft tissue development.
