The course is intended to review the concepts of alveolar cleft bone grafting for cleft surgeons. The morphology of the deformity will be discussed, as will the various reconstructive options. The timing of grafting will be discussed, from primary grafting to late secondary grafting at the time of orthognathic surgery. Several key studies will be reviewed and the evidence for various protocols, approaches, and donor sites will be discussed in detail.
