Synopsis

Reconstructive jaw surgery is a complex mixture of technique and science. Each of these aspects of reconstructive surgery today can be enhanced to gain predictable outcomes. Bone graft harvesting, reconstruction plates, graft placement, platelet rich plasma, tenting, site preparation, and soft tissue cover techniques will be shown to combine to produce enhanced functional and cosmetic outcomes.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Improve the outcome of patients requiring reconstruction.
  2. Increase the number of patients who can access advanced reconstructive surgery.
