3:45pm — 5:45pm
Cardiovascular disease remains a primary cause of death in the US and worldwide despite global initiatives to reduce morbidity and mortality through education, early detection and comprehensive therapy. Patients with cardiovascular disease pose a significant challenge to the practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Therefore, it is imperative that oral and maxillofacial surgeons gain appreciation of current modalities for diagnosis and treatment including pharmacologic therapy and invasive and non-invasive testing.
