Symposium on Mandibular Trauma


Synopsis

The purpose of this symposium is to provide current specific mandibular fracture management with specific approaches and potential for associated morbidity.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this symposium, participants will be able to:

  1. Employ current imaging modalities to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning;
  2. Explain various repair techniques and options for mandibular trauma; and
  3. Discuss indications for open versus closed treatment with outcome based evidence and associated potential complications.
