Synopsis
Closed case files will be reviewed for "teaching experiences". A panel of practicing Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons will discuss the management of these cases and how other approaches may have yielded different results.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this symposium, participants will be able to:
- Discuss how to avoid "medical errors" in the administration of anesthesia;
- Discuss how to respond to adverse events; and
- Discuss the team response to medical/anesthetic emergencies.
