Significant progress has already been made regarding the clinical application of tissue engineering. Many materials for tissue engineering have been proposed over the last several decades and several are currently available for clinical use. This symposium will address the existing growth factors that are currently available for bone and tissue regeneration and discuss the challenges and potential clinical applications of tissue engineering.
