Practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons are frequently asked to see patients with pathologic lesions for diagnosis and treatment. Initial presentations are frequently a mass and/or a radiographic abnormality. These findings lead to a differential diagnosis. The Differential leads to various evaluation modalities including imaging studies, blood work and biopsy. This symposium will discuss three common presentations of lesions commonly seen in practice. The diagnostic work up, histopathology, treatment strategies and modalities will be discussed.
