Synopsis

The objectives of this symposium are to facilitate the role of the OMS in sleep medicine management and to engage the participants (via the audience response system) in common strategies and dilemmas for patients with OSA.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Explain the OMS's role in the sleep team;
  2. Describe the pathophysiology of OSA; and
  3. Review surgical dilemmas for patients with OSA.
