Facial Cosmetic Enhancement

I will sequentially list in each of these categories the various modalities and the relative indication. Emphasis will be placed on several of the most commonly performed procedures in my office. This will include the newer nonsurgical lasers, Botox cosmetic, and the four types of FDA-approved facial fillers. In the arena of cosmetic surgery, this is separated into hard tissue, which includes chin, jaw angles, nose and soft tissue, which includes blepharoplasties, brow lifting, mid-face lifting, cervical facial liposuction, and facelifting.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. To present the spectrum of cosmetic facial enhancement separated into four basic groupings and discuss in detail their various indications. The scope of cosmetic facial enhancement in general can be subdivided into four categories:1. Nonsurgical facial skin rejuvenation.2. Botox cosmetic.3. Injectable facial fillers.4. Cosmetic facial surgery.
