Synopsis

Reconstruction of lost bone in the maxilla and mandible is a continual challenge for oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Today grafting of small and even large defects is predictable with various bone grafts techniues using autogenous bone and/or growth factors such as rhBMP, PRP and other wound healing adjuncts.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Apply bone harvesting to their credentials.
  2. Accomplish bone graft reconstruction in their practices
  3. Improve clinical outcomes of bone grafts
