This course will include a step-by-step overview of oral and maxillofacial surgery office design and financing. It will assist members in making decisions about updating office interiors, building out tenant spaces, as well as constructing new freestanding office buildings. Lecturers will offer guidance comparing financing options.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Recognize the sequence of steps in the design, financing and construction process of an OMS office;
  2. Identify the professionals needed to complete an office design project and understand the concepts used to develop building and site designs, including green, sustainable design; and
  3. Analyze current and future financial position, identify options such as starting from scratch versus acquisition and lease versus purchase; and distinguish financing options.
