Open Forum on Cleft, Craniofacial, and Pediatric OMS: Comprehensive Management of Treacher- Collins Syndrome

Synopsis

This presentation will educate the audience on basic genetics and the management of soft and hard tissues in the Treacher-Collins patient. Special concerns in airway, orthognathic, orbital (and zygomatic) and soft tissue reconstruction in TCS will be discussed.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Improve surgical outcomes in the management of TCS
  2. Improve treatment planning
  3. Improve procedures and outcomes by understanding the impact of growth and development in the TCS patient.
