Endoscopic Approach to Implant Surgery

During the last decade there has been a growing demand for minimal invasive treatment for implant surgery. Newly developed dental implant endoscope is introduced. The lecture describes the device technicalities and how to use miniature visualization endoscopic technique for further improvement of implantation procedure. The new technique accurately identified all micro anatomical and pathological structures and simplified dental implantation procedures. The endoscope could be considered for use not only for intraoperative observation and assessment of implant sites but for active assistance during the implantation procedure. Various minimal invasive procedures like closed sinus lift procedures nerve repositioning and implant preparation site surgery can be performed with the new endoscope.
