Advocating for the Specialty

Now more than ever, your practice is governed by the decisions made by officials in Washington and in state capitals across the country. AAOMS works to insure that those making decisions understand the issues that affect your patients. AAOMS Governmental Affairs advocates on behalf of the specialty by monitoring federal and state legislative and regulatory issues, encouraging member action through grassroots participation, and electing candidates who support the specialty through OMSPAC, the specialty's political action committee (PAC).
