AAOMS fellows and members in good standing (those whose 2013 dues are paid in full), candidates for membership under a pending application, residents in accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery programs, and fellows in recognized or accredited fellowships are eligible to attend the 2013 Dental Implant Conference at the member fee. AAOMS residents/students in an accredited program in the US not on file with AAOMS who wish to attend the Dental Implant Conference must have their chiefs verify residency status in writing to AAOMS headquarters to attend. International residents will be charged the same fee as an International OMS who is not a member of AAOMS. General dentists, other dental specialists and office assistants may also attend the conference.
If you register by November 1, 2013, your registration packet, including meeting badge/badge holder, will be mailed to you prior to the conference.*
Anyone registering after the November 1, 2013 deadline will be registered at the on-site registration rate and must pick up the meeting badge at the on-site registration center. Advance registration will save you time when you arrive at the conference and is strongly recommended.
* All international (non-US) registrants must check in at the AAOMS "Will Call/International Packet Pickup" counter at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. We regret that we cannot mail registration packets to addresses outside the United States.
AAOMS fellows and members, their allied staff and general dentists/other dental specialists may register via the AAOMS Web site. All others should mail or fax a completed registration form to the AAOMS headquarters office. Children and spouses may be registered as guests under the doctor's registration. Attendees registered as guests will not receive continuing education credit for any sessions.
NOTE: If you have applied for the allied staff membership category in AAOMS, you may use your ID number to register at the allied staff member rate. If you intend to apply for membership but have not yet done so, please complete and return the application BEFORE registering online to ensure your discount is reflected on the Web registration.
AAOMS fellows/members and their allied staff - Click the "AAOMS Member/Allied Staff Online Registration" link. Register multiple attendees from your practice without logging out and entering your credit card information multiple times. Only AAOMS fellows and members may login online. To register allied staff who are not AAOMS members, you must login using your six-digit member identification number. Enter your last name and six-digit member identification number in fields provided. (If you can't find your identification number, call AAOMS headquarters at 800/822-6637.) Click the submit button. Click "details" next to Dental Implant Conference in the grid.
General Dentist/Other Dental Specialist - Click the "General Dentist/Other Dental Specialist Online Registration" link. Enter the personal information as requested. The meeting materials will be sent to the address you enter. You must choose a category of "Other Dental Specialist" to be allowed to register for the meeting. Click the "submit" button. Click "details" next to Dental Implant Conference in the grid. Then click "register now."
Members (Including Allied Staff Members)
To register yourself, click "register now." You will be taken through a series of screens to choose classes and add guests. After you complete your registration, you will be able to register other attendees for the same meeting or a different meeting by clicking the appropriate button on the checkout summary page.
Non-Member Staff of an AAOMS Member (US only)
To register allied staff, click "register another person." You will be taken to a list of individuals in the database who are affiliated with your practice. To register an individual from the list, click "registration status," followed by "register now."You will be taken through a series of screens to add guests and finalize your registration. To register an individual that does not appear on the list, click "add new registrant." Enter the personal information as requested. You must choose a category; only allied staff will be allowed to register for the meeting. Click the "submit" button. Allied staff who are not AAOMS members may still register online at the Non-Member Staff of an AAOMS Member rate. You may now select the new individual from the list to register for the meeting. Attendees entered during the current transaction will show a status of incomplete on the attendee list until payment has been completed.
Payment must be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover at the time of registration. You will receive on-screen notification when your payment and registration have been accepted. You will also receive confirmation via e-mail and regular mail. Please retain a copy of the confirmation for your records.
If you need to make changes to your registration after you receive the confirmation, please fax a copy of the confirmation with a note of the changes and your payment information to the AAOMS registration department at 847/678-6279.
Attendees who have not registered by November 1, 2013, must register on-site. The registration center will be located at the Ballroom Level, Chicago East Promenade of the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.

Winter-weight clothing is appropriate for Chicago's December climate. Business attire is requested for all educational sessions.
Admittance to all conference programs and the exhibition is by badge only. Replacement badges are available at the AAOMS Registration Desk on the Sheraton Chicago Ballroom Promenade.
Complimentary coat check is available on the lobby level of the Sheraton on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7.
A kiosk for quick and complimentary recharging of mobile devices will be available on the Sheraton Ballroom level from Thursday, December 5 through Saturday, December 7.
Please turn off all cellular phones and pagers or configure to silent operation before entering an educational session. All phone calls should be conducted outside the meeting rooms.
WiFi will be available on the ballroom level of the Sheraton on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7.
Computer workstations with printers and Internet access will be located in the AAOMS Internet and CE Verification Center in the Sheraton Chicago Promenade. They will be available from noon Thursday, December 5 through 5:00pm Saturday, December 7.
Continuing this year, AAOMS will collect educational session evaluations and provide continuing education credit verification using an Internet-based system.
If you pre-registered (before November 26, 2013) for the 2013 Dental Implant Conference, you will have access to the Internet-based session evaluation and continuing education credit system beginning November 29, at aaoms.org/mycme.
If you registered after November 26 or on site at the conference, you will have access to the system beginning December 5, 2013. You will be able to access the site to evaluate the Dental Implant Conference educational sessions you attended and record your CE credit through February 27, 2014.
After February 27, 2014, no new entries will be allowed. However, you will have access to your recorded continuing education credit.
SAVE YOUR BADGE! You will need to enter your last name and meeting badge ID number to access the system. Retain your meeting badge or meeting registration confirmation notice following the close of the meeting. Reference your meeting badge ID number when logging into the system from home or office.
Session materials provided by Dental Implant Conference presenters will be available to registered attendees only. Instructions for downloading Dental Implant Conference session presentation materials will be included in your registration packet.
Registrants may access any available materials online before and after the Dental Implant Conference. Registrants will be provided instructions to access any available session materials for printing or downloading prior to arriving at the Dental Implant Conference. After the meeting, session materials will continue to be available for all registrants for 90 days following the close of the conference.
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, AAOMS meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to AAOMS's use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee's image or voice in photographs, electronic reproductions, video and audio recordings of such events and activities. No individual or entity may electronically record any portion of the conference.
The AAOMS 2013 Dental Implant Conference mobile app for your smartphone or tablet will allow you create your personal schedule, network with colleagues, locate vendors in the exhibit hall, find local attractions and more. The mobile app will be available to meeting participants later this fall.
