Request for New “How I Do It” Clinical Speakers – Submissions Due March 14
February 13th, 2014
Have something you’ve discovered that works really well in your practice? Share your knowledge with your colleagues at the AAOMS 2014 Annual Meeting!
The AAOMS Committee on Continuing Education and Professional Development (CCEPD) is actively seeking new clinical speakers to present brief, fast-paced “How I Do It” presentations as part of the newly created module format being introduced at this year’s annual meeting. Two topics will be covered in these programs: Dental Implants and Orthognathic Surgery.
The Dental Implant module will take place on Thursday, September 11 and the Orthognathic Surgery module on Friday, September 12. Each module program begins with a large audience plenary session and continues into smaller breakout sessions as the day progresses. The "How I Do It" presentations will be an integral part of each module’s afternoon session, and will be:
• 10-15 minutes in length each;
• Evidence- and clinical-based; and
• Evaluated and given feedback by the audience
If you are interested in speaking – even if you have never formally presented at an AAOMS conference before – this opportunity could be just what you are looking for. If you have spoken for AAOMS before, you are more than welcome to apply, but we strongly encourage new speakers.
