IAC Webcast of April 18th Webinar on Advanced Imaging Accreditation Now Available!
June 12th, 2012
OMSs seeking to comply with the requirements of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA), which require all suppliers of advanced diagnostic imaging services to obtain accreditation as a condition for reimbursement, may now view a free Webcast of a live Webinar offered by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) on Wednesday, April 18.
This webinar was designed to introduce participants to the new IAC accreditation program for dental practices performing diagnostic and treatment planning maxillofacial CT examinations using cone beam CT systems. The Webinar discusses the benefits of accreditation, program standards, the application process, payment policies requiring accreditation, helpful resources and a Q&A session.
The IAC Dental CT accreditation program offers dental practices a method for documenting their commitment to quality patient care related to the use of cone beam CT scanners. The AAOMS is a sponsoring organization of the IAC Dental CT program and provides representatives to the Board of Directors who are instrumental in standard and application development.
Learn more about the IAC Dental accreditation process at the organization's Web site, or contact the IAC Dental CT staff at 800/838-2110.
