OMS CustomCoder™ & OMS Payment Guide - New coding products exclusively for AAOMS Members

This fall, AAOMS has partnered with DecisionHealth, a well-known healthcare publisher, to provide its members access to dental and medical coding and compliance information through OMS CustomCoder™, an online service offering content from more than 10 coding and billing specialty reference books in a single, powerful application. Users of OMS CustomCoder will be able to search for codes by index terms, codes, keywords, descriptions, or code ranges. In addition to accessing your code information, the service provides CDT to CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9 crosswalks.
Also available to AAOMS members is the OMS Payment Guide, a comprehensive coding manual developed exclusively for AAOMS members to help with coding common dental and medical procedures more efficiently. The OMS Payment guide includes CDT, CPT, ICD-9-CM code descriptions, RVUs, and also provides coding crosswalks. The OMS Payment Guide is intended to be used as a companion tool with the standard CPT, CDT and ICD-9 manuals. To top it off, DecisionHealth has arranged for discounted rates for AAOMS members on CPT, CDT, ICD-9-CM and HCPCS coding manuals in addition to other coding resources that OMS practices and their staff may benefit.
