Education & Research
The OMS Faculty Section provides a discussion forum for OMS educators; develops improved methods of residency, predoctoral and postdoctoral education in oral and maxillofacial surgery and encourages clinical and laboratory research within residency.
Through ROAAOMS, residents become acquainted with the specialty and the Association, share common experiences, and glean insights from colleagues around the country.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is one of the most dynamic professions in healthcare today. And while the future demand for dentists is expected to continue its steady growth of the last two decades, many dental students consider pursuing a specialty.
