Scholarships available for private practice OMSs transitioning to academia
Know someone who is thinking about leaving private practice for a career in academia? If so, two AAOMS scholarships to the 2020 Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL) program are available. The four-day, onsite program is designed to help participants achieve better student outcomes by refining their teaching skills and enhancing the quality of their interactions with students. Participants also will develop other skills that facilitate confidence, job satisfaction and professional growth in the academic environment.
This year’s program will be held Aug. 23–26 in Atlanta, Ga. Participants must be able to attend all dates. Participants must be able to attend all dates.
