How do I log in to the conference platform?

Answer:

Each attendee will be sent platform access instructions to the email account used to register for the conference. Visit the following link to access the conference:

Eventscribe.net/2022/Resident-Transitions

  • Registrants are required to log in with the email address used to register and their personalized registration/member ID.
  • An account may be logged into only one device at a time. Sharing account access is prohibited.

What equipment do I need to view the conference?

Answer:

The conference platform is compatible with laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. For optimum access, disconnect from a VPN (if possible). With a virtual conference, a strong internet connection of 1.4 Mbps is recommended. AAOMS highly recommends accessing the site through Google Chrome and using all Livestream features but does not recommend Internet Explorer.

How do I fix connection issues in the conference platform?

Answer:

The conference platform is compatible with laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones. For optimum access, disconnect from a VPN (if possible). With a virtual conference, a strong internet connection of 1.4 Mbps is recommended. AAOMS highly recommends accessing the site through Google Chrome and using all Livestream features but does not recommend Internet Explorer.

If you have other connection or audio issues while attending a session, try refreshing the browser or reentering the session.

Will sessions be offered on-demand post-conference?

Answer:

The online platform will allow registrants to view session recordings through May 14.

Can I register for the conference and get immediate access?

Answer:

Yes. Registration will remain open through April 1. The live conference is being held Feb. 6 and 13. The online platform will allow registrants to view session recordings through May 14.

How can I access the Speaker Networking Breakout Rooms?

Answer:

Each attendee will be able to join a speaker’s Networking Breakout Room and ask questions about their experience and career. To join a speaker and other residents in a virtual room, select the speaker’s name within the 3 p.m. CST Networking Session in the online platform.

Note: Speaker Networking Breakout Rooms are compatible with laptops and desktops using Chrome version 97 or higher.

Can I access handouts?

Answer:

If provided, handouts for presentations can be downloaded at Eventscribe.net/2022/Resident-Transitions. Attendees must be registered and logged in to access them.

How do I claim CE and evaluate sessions?

Answer:

CE credit is not offered for this conference. Please complete the evaluation and post-conference survey to provide feedback to AAOMS for planning future educational sessions and to obtain a certificate of attendance at Eventscribe.net/2022/Resident-Transitions.
