Attendees who register by Oct. 31 will receive their registration packets – including meeting badge, badge holder and any preconference tickets – in the mail before the conference.*
Those registering after Oct. 31 will pay the onsite registration rate and must pick up their meeting badges onsite at the AAOMS Registration Desk. Advance registration will save you time when you arrive at the conference and is strongly recommended.
*International (non-U.S. and non-Canada) registrants must check in at the AAOMS Will Call/International Packet Pickup counter at the Sheraton Grand Chicago. We regret that we cannot mail registration packets to addresses outside the United States and Canada.
New This Year: The Dental Implant Conference General Session will be simulcast live! Participate from your home or office. This is a great alternative for those who cannot travel to Chicago. Member, resident and non-member rates are available. Registration is now open.
The simulcast will include live coverage as well as 30 days of archived access. The web-based event will stream the conference’s live general sessions from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. CST Friday, Dec. 1, and 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. CST Saturday, Dec. 2. On Thursday, Nov. 30, registrants will receive an email with a link to the simulcast along with login credentials and instructions. Online CE Instructions
AAOMS collects educational session evaluations and provides continuing education credit verification using an internet-based system at AAOMS.org/MyCE. During the conference, you may access the system onsite through the AAOMS Internet CEnter or from any internet-enabled computer or device.
You will be able to claim your CE credit through March 6, 2018. After that date, no new entries will be allowed.
Retain your badge or registration confirmation notice as you will need your badge ID number to access the system.
Dental Implant Conference Session Presentation Materials
Educational session materials prepared by conference presenters and provided to AAOMS will be available online beginning Nov. 20 to registered attendees only. To access materials, you will need the Registration/Member ID number displayed on your conference badge and registration confirmation. Download presentation materials from any internet-enabled computer or mobile device.
Note that some sessions may not have materials available. Presentation materials will be posted as they are submitted by speakers and will remain available online for registered attendees following the close of the conference.
Audiovisual recordings of select Dental Implant Conference sessions will be available for purchase online several weeks after the conclusion of the conference. Visit AAOMS.org/Recordings for more information.
Consent to Use Photographic Images and Recordings
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, AAOMS meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the attendee to AAOMS’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, electronic reproductions, video and audio recordings of such events and activities. No individual or entity may photograph, audio record or video record any portion of the conference.
Conference Mobile App
The AAOMS Events mobile app for your smartphone or tablet will allow you to create your personal schedule, network with colleagues, locate vendors in the Exhibit Hall, find local attractions and more. The app for the Dental Implant Conference will be available to meeting participants this fall.
There will be no Media/Press Registration Booth at the Dental Implant Conference. Media and press representatives wishing to attend the Dental Implant Conference MUST notify AAOMS communications staff in advance of the conference to register. Press badges are available only to working press who can show evidence that their attendance results in coverage of the AAOMS conference in print, broadcast or recognized internet media. AAOMS reserves the right to inspect the credentials of anyone registering as press. Working press may not also register as exhibitors.
To obtain a press badge, identification certifying that you are a working member of the print or broadcast news media and/or a letter stating that you are on assignment to cover the conference is required. Membership cards from communications or writers’ organizations are not sufficient to establish eligibility. Press badges allow access to the Exhibit Hall. AAOMS reserves the right to restrict press attendance at any portion of the conference. Media and press representatives must agree to adhere to the AAOMS Press Guidelines, which are available upon request.
For more information, please contact the AAOMS communications staff at 847-678-6200.
