In-person conference with online access registration
Attendees who register by Oct. 31 will receive their registration packets – including conference badge, badge holder and any preconference tickets – in the mail before the conference.*
Those registering after Oct. 31 will pay the onsite registration rate and must pick up their conference badges onsite at the AAOMS Registration Center. Advance registration will save time when arriving at the conference and is strongly recommended.
*International (non-U.S. and non-Canada) registrants must check in at the AAOMS Registration Center at Sheraton Grand Chicago. AAOMS regrets it is unable to mail registration packets to addresses outside the United States and Canada.
Online-only access registration
The Dental Implant Conference preconference program and general sessions will be live-streamed. This allows participation from the home or office. This is a convenient alternative for those who cannot travel to Chicago. Member and non-member rates are available. Visit the 2021 Registration page to register for the Online-only access option.
Online-only access registration will include live coverage as well as 60 days of archived access. The web-based event will stream the conference’s live general sessions from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. CST Friday, Dec. 3, and 8 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. CST Saturday, Dec. 4. For an additional fee, the preconference program Thursday, Dec. 2, also will be offered to the online-only audience. CDE/CME credit is included.
AAOMS residents can access the livestream at no cost.
Questions about the livestream should be emailed to AAOMS email@example.com.
The exhibition and all educational sessions will take place at Sheraton Grand Chicago, 301 E. North Water St., Chicago, IL 60611.
Event and session locations will be listed in the Dental Implant Conference Final Program.
AAOMS has secured special room rates for attendees at Sheraton Grand Chicago.

Online CE Instructions
AAOMS collects educational session evaluations and provides continuing education credit verification using an internet-based system at AAOMS.org/MyCE. During the conference, you may access the system onsite through the AAOMS Internet Center, mobile app or from any internet-enabled computer or device.
You will be able to claim your CE credit through March 5, 2022. After that date, no new entries will be allowed.
Retain your badge or registration confirmation notice, as you will need your badge ID number to access the system.
Session Presentation Materials
Educational session materials prepared by conference presenters and provided to AAOMS will be available online beginning Nov. 22 to registered attendees only. To access materials, you will need the registration/member ID number displayed on your conference badge and registration confirmation. Download presentation materials from any internet-enabled computer or mobile device.
Note that some sessions may not have materials available. Presentation materials will be posted as they are submitted by speakers and will remain available online for registered attendees following the close of the conference.
If attendees are interested in purchasing session recordings after the platform access ends Feb. 6, 2022, they can buy select recordings at AAOMS.org/Recordings. Special pricing is available for conference attendees.
Consent to Use Photographic Images and Recordings
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, AAOMS meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the attendee to AAOMS’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, electronic reproductions as well as video and audio recordings of such events and activities. No individual or entity may photograph, audio record or video record any portion of the conference.
Conference Mobile App
Supported by Zimmer Biomet
The AAOMS Events mobile app for your smartphone or tablet will allow you to create your personal schedule, evaluate sessions and claim CE credit, network with colleagues, locate vendors in the Exhibit Hall, find local attractions and more. Information and instructions will be available later this fall.
There will be no Media/Press Registration Booth at the Dental Implant Conference. Media and press representatives wishing to attend the Dental Implant Conference must notify AAOMS communications staff in advance of the conference to register. Press badges are available only to working press who can show evidence their attendance results in coverage of the AAOMS conference in print, broadcast or recognized internet media. AAOMS reserves the right to inspect the credentials of anyone registering as press. Working press may not also register as exhibitors.
To obtain a press badge, identification certifying you are a working member of the print or broadcast news media and/or a letter stating you are on assignment to cover the conference is required. Membership cards from communications or writers’ organizations are not sufficient to establish eligibility. Press badges allow access to the Exhibit Hall. AAOMS reserves the right to restrict press attendance at any portion of the conference. Media and press representatives must agree to adhere to the AAOMS Press Guidelines, which are available upon request.
For more information, contact AAOMS communications staff at 847-678-6200.
As of 7/31/2021; subject to change.
It is strongly encouraged that meeting attendees be fully vaccinated.
Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws, rules and regulations – including local business and workplace guidance.
If you are not fully vaccinated, you should wear a mask in indoor public places.
In general, you do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings.
In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
People who have a condition or are taking medications that weaken their immune system may NOT be protected even if they are fully vaccinated. They should continue to take all precautions recommended for unvaccinated people, including wearing a well-fitted mask, until advised otherwise by their healthcare provider.
Children under the age of 2 do not need to wear a face covering.
