In-person conference with online access registration

Attendees who register by Oct. 31 will receive their registration packets – including conference badge, badge holder and any preconference tickets – in the mail before the conference.*

Those registering after Oct. 31 will pay the onsite registration rate and must pick up their conference badges onsite at the AAOMS Registration Center. Advance registration will save time when arriving at the conference and is strongly recommended.

*International (non-U.S. and non-Canada) registrants must check in at the AAOMS Registration Center at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk. AAOMS regrets it is unable to mail registration packets to addresses outside the United States and Canada.

Online-only access registration

The Dental Implant Conference general sessions and one preconference session with limited seating will be live-streamed. This allows participation from the home or office. This is a convenient alternative for those who cannot travel to Chicago. Member and non-member rates are available. Visit the Registration page to register for the Online-only access option.

Online-only access registration will include live coverage as well as 60 days of archived access. The web-based event will stream the conference’s live general sessions from 8 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. CST Friday, Dec. 2, and 8 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. CST Saturday, Dec. 3. For an additional fee, one preconference session with limited seating on Thursday, Dec. 1, also will be offered to the online-only audience. CDE/CME credit is included.

AAOMS residents can access the live-stream at no cost.

Questions about the live-stream should be emailed to AAOMS at virtualsupport@aaoms.org.

Online CE Instructions

AAOMS collects educational session evaluations and provides continuing education credit verification using an internet-based system at AAOMS.org/MyCE. During the conference, you may access the system onsite through the AAOMS Internet Center, mobile app or from any internet-enabled computer or device.

You will be able to claim your CE credit through March 3, 2023. After that date, no new entries will be allowed.

Retain your badge or registration confirmation notice, as you will need your badge ID number to access the system.

Information and instructions will be available later this fall.

There will be no Media/Press Registration Booth at the Dental Implant Conference. Media and press representatives wishing to attend the Dental Implant Conference must notify AAOMS communications staff in advance of the conference to register. Press badges are available only to working press who can show evidence their attendance results in coverage of the AAOMS conference in print, broadcast or recognized internet media. AAOMS reserves the right to inspect the credentials of anyone registering as press. Working press may not register as exhibitors.

To obtain a press badge, identification certifying you are a working member of the print, web or broadcast news media and/or a letter stating you are on assignment to cover the conference is required. Membership cards from communications or writers’ organizations are not sufficient to establish eligibility. Press badges allow access to the Exhibit Hall. AAOMS reserves the right to restrict press attendance at any portion of the conference. Media and press representatives must agree to adhere to the AAOMS Press Guidelines, which are available upon request.

For more information, contact AAOMS communications staff at 847-678-6200.

COVID-19 safety

It is strongly encouraged that conference attendees be fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws, rules and regulations – including local business and workplace guidance. In areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases, consider wearing a mask in crowded settings and for activities with close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.

People who have a condition or are taking medications that weaken their immune system may not be protected even if they are fully vaccinated. They should continue to take all precautions recommended for unvaccinated people, including wearing a well-fitted mask, until advised otherwise by their healthcare provider. AAOMS will continue to monitor CDC and local recommendations and update safety measures as appropriate. For the most up-to-date information on health and safety precautions and requirements, continue to monitor this page.

For current Chicago and Cook County, Ill., COVID guidelines, visit the City of Chicago website at Chicago.gov/COVID and the Cook County Public Health website at cookcountypublichealth.org.
