Global Outreach Program
The Henry Schein Cares Foundation and AAOMS have initiated a grant program to foster, support and promote the provision of oral and maxillofacial surgery care in underserved communities in the United States and around the world. The AAOMS—Henry Schein Global Outreach Program provides financial and healthcare product grants to OMSs who volunteer their services as individual participants in a healthcare program overseen by a charitable or not-for-profit organization, and those who volunteer for a tour on a Mercy Ships mission.
Each year through 2019, the Henry Schein Cares Foundation will fund four $2,500 cash grants to recipients to help offset expenses in furthering their volunteer service. In addition, each recipient will be able to select products from the Henry Schein catalog valued at up to $2,000, for use on the mission specified in the recipient’s application.
Recipients shall be selected in accordance with the Program Rules. The awarding of a grant is not an endorsement of the healthcare program, charitable or not-for-profit organization, or Mercy Ships.
The application submission period is now closed. Selected recipients for the 2019 program will be notified in late September 2018.
The next application period will open in May 2019.
