AAOMS 2019 Dental Implant Conference registration now open

OMSs, their staff and referring dentists are invited to attend the 2019 AAOMS Dental Implant Conference being held in Chicago, Ill. Attendees will be able to participate in six preconference courses on Dec. 5 and two full days of general sessions taught by renowned faculty of implant dentistry experts on Dec. 6 and 7.
The general sessions are divided into four themes:
- Reconstruction of Hard- and Soft-tissue Defects in the Anterior Maxilla – This session will focus on using digital technology to efficiently plan surgery and optimize communication. Current materials used in grafting also will be reviewed.
- Material and Restorative Methods for Reconstruction of Hard- and Soft-tissue Defects – Speakers will showcase common clinical situations that appear difficult but can be treated with evidence-based grafting methods. An update on bioengineering and biomolecules also will be provided.
- Case discussions – Clinicians will highlight cases examining issues commonly seen in most practices along with the diagnosis and treatment plan..
- Experience in the Trenches – Cases that have resulted in concern or elation will be detailed. Attendees also will hear a point-counterpoint on the use of guided navigation vs. freehand.
Those who register by Oct. 31 will receive their registration packets – including meeting badge, badge holder and preconference tickets – by mail before the conference.

For those unable to travel to Chicago for the Dental Implant Conference, AAOMS is offering a simulcast opportunity. A live simulcast will be available so participants can watch the general sessions on Dec. 6-7 from their home, office or wherever they are. Participants also can join question-and-answer sessions and earn CDE/CME credit.
